Issa Homes launches new website

We’ve talked about how fortunate we are to work with some of the nicest and most interesting people in the country.

Working with the folks of Issa Homes was no exception.

In their words:

Issa Homes is an award-winning Florida luxury builder founded by Francis Issa in 1972. After building boutique residential communities in South Florida, Founder Francis Issa was invited to join Arvida, one of Florida’s largest developers, as a preferred builder in signature residential communities such as Estancis, Paseos, Timbercreek Boca West and Broken Sound. Issa Homes can be found in Central Florida’s best communities including Celebration, Baldwin Park, Lake Nona Golf and Country Club and, most recently, Disney’s newest community Golden Oak.

Issa Homes (IssaHomes.com) came to us in need of a redesigned website that would highlight the amazing homes they are building in Florida.

That was the primary goal.

Additionally, the company wanted a website that could be easily and consistently updated while providing a solid foundation for Social Media and Search Marketing campaigns.

To achieve the design goal, we went witha very minimalist, white themed designed site. The primarily white site puts the users’ attention where it belongs: on the stunning photos of the homes.

Further, we highlighted the testimonials section which highlights some of the amazing work the company has done. In a similar style, we included a Portfolio section that displays exterior sots and concept art of the homes as well as floor plans that give visitors a great idea of what the homes are like. Finally, each page features a contact form and several social connection opportunities, providing customers an easy way to deepen the relationship with Issa Homes.

To achieve the Search Engine flexibility needed, we integrated the SEO plugin by Yoast into our WordPress-backed content management system. This plugin makes targeting Keywords exceedingly simple, and, combined with the structure of the site’s navigation and code, makes on-site SEO a straight-forward process.

Finally, as we said, Issa Homes wanted a site that they could take control of and easily maintain with regularly updated content. Our content management system (built on WordPress) gave the company just that: An easy way to create Portfolio items, Article posts, Testimonials, Landing Pages and Photo Galleries (integrated with Flickr).

To help them get started, we created a series of screencasts that demonstrated exactly how to manage and update the site.

The design and development work required two weeks from Gunner Technology.

Again, we were very fortunate to be able to work with such a great group of people. We hope the future provides more opportunities for us to partner together.
