Node.js is a server side environment which is based off of JavaScript. Its Technology is built up of different architectures from various internet applications. Node.js has grown in popularity over the recent years and there are various different companies using node js. Just to have a better idea of who all is using the server continue onto reading the list below of which companies are using node js.

Learnboost.com- This website has been running their page off of Node.js alone, and they have been a member of the server since Feb. 15th 2010. If you take a look at the profile for the LearnBoost you will see that the company has had great success with Node js.

DocumentCloud.com- DocumentCloud.com utilizes Node.js for pixel tracking on embedded documents. The name of the project in which they are using the server for is called Pixel Ping.

A LinkIn user, Micah Alpern who is a Product Designer, is currently using Node js. for the company’s mobile server. This helps with powering Mobile Web products, Android phones, and the company’s overall Mobile Sever.

Storify.com has their entire web page platform set up as Node.js and Express are both combined to create the framework for the page.

Secondwavegames.com also uses Node.js.

J Chris Anderson, a developer of CouchDB, uses node js. for asynchronous backgrounds on the website. He mentions that if they need a function that they use node to change the document. It powers the back end of the Hosting settings.

Designer and developer at Twitter.com, Luke Andrews uses node.js for compiling less js. CSS and switching it into regular CSS before executing a production.

The co-founder of Klout.com has been using Node.js since April of 2012.

The NodePing Server is being monitored and ran 100% off of Node.js.

Mefeedia.com uses Node.js for running their API searches and widgets. Node-mysql, step, and Express are used for routing with nginx proxy.

Labs.metamx.com uses the node js dashboard for their clients. They have created a demo on the web page mentioned above for visitors to view.

Plurk uses node.js

NewsBasis.com uses node for RSS poller and for web fetcher.

Pushme.com is using node js for the majority of their web page.

The Palm webOS 2.0 has the node js application installed on it. It is currently available in France as well. It is very beneficial for users since is it available on a phone.

Wetalky.com was built solely off of node js.
