Carter Oosterhouse: Case Study

Background

Carter Oosterhouse is an American television personality and model, who was born in Traverse City, Michigan. Oosterhouse first gained national fame as a carpenter on the TLC series Trading Spaces and has hosted other home improvement and how-to television shows. As of 2008, he is the host of two programs on the HGTV network: Carter Can and Red Hot & Green. He is married to actress Amy Smart.

Pain or Problem

Carter first came to us for his website in 2003.  Being a television actor and personality, Carter needed internet exposure since he began a huge following on the forth season of  TLC’s series Trading Spaces.

Solution

We put Carter’s site on a content management system, which allowed his staff to manage his site and quickly post new information and content. The site quickly expanded into a publishing platform, providing guests with a reason to keep coming back.
